The UMass Dartmouth Library Associates presents LYRIC LIFELINES: Featuring: Poet Marc Widershien and singer D’Anna Fortunato, accompanied by Pianist John MacDonald.

This annual fundraiser features a reception following the performance to benefit the UMass Dartmouth Library Archives and Special Collections. Refreshments will be served.

Tickets are $15.00 (free to UMD students with an ID)

From Dreyfus to Mohammad: The Power of Caricature/Cartoons to Incite – Faculty Senate/Library Brown Bag Lecture Series

An exploration of the peculiar power of caricatures and cartoons to inflame. The lecture will include discussion of anti-semitic cartoons and the so-called “cartoon riots” of last year.
