The University of Massachusetts Dartmouth Claire T. Carney Library Associates will host a piano concert with narration, Adventures of John Manjiro, composed by Yoko Nakatani and performed by Yukiko Sekino and Yoko Nakatani with Ron Williams, narrator. Patricia Callan wrote the narrative.
There will also be a solo performance of Sakura and Nakatani piano for four hands, “Rhythm and Dance.” The performance will be held at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, Center for Visual and Performing Arts auditorium, parking lot 8. Cindy Yoken, president of the Library Associates, will host the event to take place Sunday, December 6, 2009 at 2:00 PM followed by a reception.
