Paige Gibbs Receives the Homer I. Bernhardt Distinguished Service Award

Paige Gibbs

Congratulations to our colleague Paige Gibbs on receiving the  Homer I. Bernhardt Distinguished Service Award. The award has been described as the Engineering Libraries Division’s “Hall of Fame.” Receipt of this award is testimony to the respect and appreciation of a librarian’s peers. It is given to librarians who have made significant professional contributions.

The librarian who nominated Paige wrote “I believe her ongoing contributions over the years since she joined in 1982 have been key to nurturing the group where networking, friendship, and the exchange of ideas flourish. Paige exemplifies the energy, dedication, and enthusiasm of an engineering librarian. She is an excellent role model for outreach and participation. Hence I nominate her for the Homer I. Bernhardt award.”

Join us in congratulating Paige on her hard-earned, well-deserved award!
